A Healthy Start to your Day

Trying to get more veggies in your day? Start with breakfast. Over the summer I got into the habit of sautéing mixed greens from the garden and placing a fried egg on top. It is simple but tasty. The fried egg makes a nice sauce to a warm salad. The picture above has kale and sweet potato with some Balsamic vinegar. There are all kinds of combinations and trust me as someone who loves meat with every meal you wont miss it….but if you want throw in some bacon, left over taco meat or some pheasant heart!
